About The Australian Plants Society

Plant societies provide an organization through which plant material and information can be interchanged and enthusiasm shared. Some are restricted to a particular genus or group of plants, others to a style of gardening or a horticultural theme. Through their publications, websites and plant events they seek to spread knowledge and are a prized resource in ensuring that the origins and characteristics of plants are recorded and that stock of unusual plants remains in cultivation.
